My son's Jeep lost a bolt to the rear track bar which left the vehicle unstable and unsafe to drive. CAMCO quickly got us in that morning and by the afternoon Blue called to let me know it was safe to drive again. I have had many great experiences there. They work hard to fix your vehicle without charging you an arm and a leg. I highly recommend them.

While on family vacation I needed a battery replacement, just the labor as I had purchased the new battery at an auto parts store. My inspection was due too so I asked if they could go ahead get that done. It took about an hour and I was so thankful that they got the job done quickly. 5 stars.

We are now a CAMCO family. We found the shop after the business we bought a BMW from could not perform needed repairs. We are lifetime fans of Blue, who spent time with us going over repairs needed and how they would be accomplished. All repairs were completed beyond expectations. The latest experience was with our second vehicle, which went to a local tire business after symptoms indicated tire problems. After nearly $400 spent and parts replaced trying to resolve the vibration problem, we took the car to CAMCO. They found the problem immediately, and found other obvious repair issues that should have been found at the tire business but weren’t. Repairs were completed and the car is like new. It is hard to find a good mechanic when you move let alone a great one. I am so happy I started bringing my vehicles here. The staff is wonderful!!! I've lived in Carteret County for twelve years now and have difficulty finding great mechanics that I could genuinely trust. I finally found them at Camco. One of my cars is twenty years old with 180,000 miles on it. It's been needing quite a bit of work for some time now. It's rather sentimental, so I decided to spend more repairing it than it's worth. The first time I went to Camco, I told them the car was making a clunking sound plus a clicking sound and asked them to troubleshoot and fix the problems. It turns out I needed a new cv axle and a bushing in the sway bar. Then I took it back recently and asked them to replace the timing belt, drive belt, and water pump. Interestingly enough, I had been told by another mechanic shop that I needed the rear calipers replaced. They checked it out and said they were fine and didn't need replacing. I've written a long review because I want to let folks know these are great people at Camco with fair prices. They stay super busy, so be patient when requesting an appointment. It's worth the wait.
